TRAVEL CONSULTANT

Due to our continued growth we are looking for a further experienced Travel Consultant to join our friendly team in Oundle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Four working days per week including a minimum of two Saturdays per month as rostered.

Hours of work are 0850-1730 Monday to Friday and 0850-1500 Saturday. This is not flexible and all working days have to be full office hours.

Full flexibility is required with days of work, the position would involve cover of staff holidays and educational visits throughout the year and would involve five days per week at certain times.

A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a luxury retail travel environment dealing with high revenue bookings is required. A high percentage of enquiries will be for long haul destinations and multi centre bespoke itineraries for our discerning clientele. Experience of worldwide destinations whether it be from personal experience or from selling will be a strong advantage.

Exceptional customer communication skills together with a high level of commercial awareness together with the ability to work at a fast pace within a small, competitive team is crucial.

A good sense of humour with a positive approach to work is essential ! A high standard of personal appearance and grooming is also required along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
